Laurent Koscielny refuses to rule out Marseille move

France international Laurent Koscielny has admitted that he is comfortable with his stay at Arsenal, but would still find it hard to ignore a switch to boyhood club Marseille.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The centre-back has evolved into a key performer in the Gunners' backline over the years racking nearing 300 appearances in the Premier League.

Koscielny is said to be among the top targets for Marseille alongside compatriot Olivier Giroud, and the cash-rich club could lodge an approach for both during the summer transfer window.

When asked on the transfer gossip, Koscielny refused to rule out a future move although he penned a new Gunners deal until 2020.

"I have a contract with Arsenal, I even signed an extension last November until 2020. I feel very good over there. I have always said that I was a Marseille fan when I was younger. When a mythical club like Marseille contact you, it is good. But will I sign for them? I have no idea at all," he told Telefoot.

Crystal Palace's Yohan Cabaye and Tottenham Hotspur's Moussa Sissoko are also on Les Phoceens radar for the summer with owner Frank McCourt eager to compete with the likes of AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain for the Ligue 1 crown.
