Arsenal to block Chelsea, Man City attempt for Sanchez

Sanchez unlikely to join rival EPL club

Arsenal to block Chelsea, Man City attempt for Sanchez

13 June 2017 - 05:20

Arsenal will reportedly snub advances from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City as they are desperate to keep hold of star forward Alexis Sanchez.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • The Chilean international amassed 24 goals and 10 assists during the recently concluded league campaign as the Gunners ended up a point below the top-four positions.

As a result, the club will not participate in the Champions League for the first time in 20 seasons, and this is unlikely to satisfy Sanchez, who is eager to showcase his talents in the premier competition.

According to The Mail, the 28-year-old won't be allowed to join a direct league rival in Manchester City or Chelsea, and this leaves Sanchez with the option to join one of Bayer Munich or Juventus in the summer.

In spite of the ongoing speculation, Arsene Wenger remains hopeful of keeping hold of the attacker with the risk of losing him on a free at the end of next season.

Sanchez is currently on international duty with Chile where he provided a key assist in the 1-1 draw against Russia in a Confederations Cup warmup match.
