Sevilla midfielder desperate for Juventus move

Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi is desperate to ply his trade in the Serie A with Juventus despite receiving several other offers to leave the Estadio Ramon.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • The 27-year-old joined the Spanish club from Stoke City back in the summer of 2015, and he has since enjoyed significant success while lifting the Europa League title in the 2015-16 season.

A number of Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in the midfield anchorman, but according to El Desmarque, the Frenchman has told his representatives to push through a move to Turin this summer.

N'Zonzi featured for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke during his six-year spell in England between 2009 and 2015, but he is not so keen on a comeback as he eyes a bigger challenge with the Champions League finalists.

Juventus have struggled to find a proper enforcer since the departure of Paul Pogba to Manchester United, and N'Zonzi might well be their answer to the Old Lady's need.

N'Zonzi notched two goals and three assists in 35 La Liga games for Sevilla, who finished in fourth place in the league standings.
