Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be packing his bags from the Emirates following the Gunners' lack of intent to extend his contract.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move

  • The England international has just 12 months left on his deal, but talks over a probable extension are yet to resume.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently on a pre-season holiday, and The Times believes that he will push for a fresh challenge on his return to north London.

The Ox feels he would progress more as a player as a new club, and this could, in turn, invite interest from Liverpool, who could him the central midfield role.

Arsenal are unlikely to accept any cut-price deal for the former Southampton graduate, and the Reds could be expected to pay a sum in excess of pound25m to secure the deal.

Liverpool have made significant progress towards their first summer signing with Mohamed Salah close to sealing a &pound39m move to Anfield.

Oxlade-Chamberlain enjoyed a top season under Arsene Wenger last term as he got his chance to impress in a number of positions including right wing-back.
