Arsenal to loan out Takuma Asano again

Asano heading back to Stuttgart

Arsenal to loan out Takuma Asano again

Arsenal will reportedly allow Takuma Asano to join Stuttgart for a second straight season on loan after he failed to secure a permit to work in the UK.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Japan international joined the FA Cup holders from Sanfrecce Hiroshima last summer before being shipped out to the Bundesliga outfit.

Asano bagged four goals and four assists in 27 outings for Stuttgart, who attained top-flight promotion, and they have now triggered a clause which will extend his loan contract, Bild claims.

Arsenal are currently on the search for a new centre-forward for the summer, and the unavailability of Takuma could be a minor dent in their proceedings with Wenger previously praising the youngster's talents.

Takuma has earned just seven caps for his nation since his debut in 2015, and he will have to manage more opportunities next season for club and country in order to gain a working visa.

He currently has a contract with Arsenal until 2018, and it is yet to be seen whether he would receive a probable extension prior to his Stuttgart return.
