West Ham appealed against the red card that Bowyer recieved against Birmingham last Saturday. He was given a straight red from what seemed a double footed challenge, but looking on the replays it did not seem so rash, as Bowyer attempted to avoid the challenge on Damien Johnson
Fortunately for West Ham and Alan Curbishley the Football Association reversed the decision and the three-match suspension has been withdrawn.
Alan Curbishley had demanded that they had a look at it in the post match interview.
