Paris Saint-Germain to bid for NGolo Kante?

Paris Saint-Germain plan big-money move for Kante

Paris Saint-Germain to bid for N'Golo Kante?

10 October 2017 - 10:37

French giants Paris Saint-Germain could lodge a mega offer to pursue Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante at the end of the 2017/18 season.

  • Chelsea suffer big injury blow ahead of Everton game
  • Enzo Fernandez refuses to rule out Chelsea exit
  • The 26-year-old has been a revelation during his time in England, winning the Premier League crown with Leicester City and Chelsea respectively in the past two seasons.

As a result, his contribution has already been compared to former France and Blues great Claude Makelele, who recently hailed him as the 'complete midfielder'.

Unai Emery's side splashed a world-record sum of nearly £200m to pursue Neymar from Barcelona last summer, and this was followed by the loan signing of Monaco's Kylian Mbappe, who will seal a permanent £150m plus move next term.

According to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 outfit will continue their lavish spending in the transfer market and have earmarked Kante as the ideal target to bolster their midfield.

Emery's men are still on the search for a tireless performer at the centre of the park, and they could pay as much as £90m in order to convince Chelsea into a sale next summer.

Kante is currently contracted to the Premier League champions until 2021, and this keeps Chelsea in a strong position to decline any offers in the near future.
