Premier League holders Chelsea will reportedly sanction the temporary exit of Charly Musonda during the winter transfer window. The Belgium youth international recently hit out at the club on Instagram over the lack of sufficient first-team opportunities.
According to Evening Standard, the Blues had hoped to loan out Musonda in the summer, only for the forward to express his intention to remain at Stamford Bridge.
Musonda has since earned a solitary start in the League Cup versus Nottingham Forest when he found the net, but he has more or less been a substitute for the club's Premier League campaign.
Chelsea are currently short of first-team numbers when compared to their close rivals, but the club are nevertheless prepared to send Musonda elsewhere in January to provide him valuable gametime.
Musonda has previously spent time on loan Real Betis where he has contributed a solitary goal in 24 appearances. The 20-year-old has been touted as one of Belgian's finest young talents, but he has yet to prove his worth to manager Antonio Conte.
