Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes has been linked with a shock move to Tottenham. The Barcelona player is the subject of 35 million euro interest from the Premier League side.
Clubcall has today suggested that Spurs have made contact with the agent of Andre Gomes regarding a potential move to England in the January transfer window. Gomes, who joined Barca in 2016 from Benfica, has been a regular at the Catalan side but has struggled in recent times to produce the kind of performances that impress the notoriously high standards of Barca fans.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is known to be a huge fan of Gomes and is famous for having an eye for a great deal and could take advantage of a drop of form for the midfielder with a January transfer move.
So far this campaign Gomes has only managed one start in La Liga. Clubcall reports that Juventus are also amongst the teams monitoring Andre Gomes' uncertain situation at Barcelona.
