Real Madrid star given green light to seal EPL move?

Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale has reportedly been given the green light to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere next summer. Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are among the main contenders for his signature.

  • The Wales international joined the European champions from Spurs in 2013 for a then-record fee of £85m, and he has since struggled to cement a regular spot due to a series of injuries.

Bale is currently recuperating from another calf problem sustained in late September, and according to The Mirror, Los Blancos are now prepared to part ways with the versatile attacker.

Both United and ex-club Spurs have been constantly linked with the three-time Champions League winner, but Los Blancos could favour his move to north London as they look to lure Harry Kane in a potential swap deal.

Despite his fair share of injuries, Bale has been a good success for Real Madrid contributing 70 goals and 55 assists across all competitions. He currently has more than four years left on his contract.
