Palermo to lose Amauri

18 February 2008 - 22:00

Palermo striker Amauri looks set to be leaving the Italian club as the president confessed the player wishes to join a bigger club. Amauri is likely to leave the side with a 25 million euro pricetag on his head.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The striker, who joined Palermo in the summer of 2006 from Chievo, is under contract until June 2010, but is expected to leave the Sicilian outfit this summer.

"I will not be able to keep Amauri here," admitted Zamparini. "He is worth 25million euros and other clubs offer him three times his current wages.

"Whoever comes first with an offer will get him."
