The agent of Anthony Martial has stressed that he can not guarantee the Frenchman's stay at Manchester United beyond the summer.
Martial's future has been the focus of attention since the turn of the year with the arrival of Alexis Sanchez hampering his chances of commanding a regular role.
Speaking to IlBianconero.com, Martial's representative Philippe Lamboley appeared to dismiss any talks with Juventus over his client's future, but was not sure whether the Frenchman would remain at Old Trafford next season.
"I’ve never met Juventus chiefs and Doyen Sports do not represent the interest of Martial. I can’t confirm Martial will remain at the Old Trafford next season, I am sorry but I can’t add anything else about it," he said.
Martial has experienced probably his best season with Manchester United, having contributed 11 goals and 10 assists in 40 appearances, but he is said to want assurance of regular gametime before committing his future.
The Frenchman is currently in a direct competition with Marcus Rashford for a wide position in the starting lineup, and it will be interesting to see whether he will prolong his stay beyond June 2019.
