Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has told reporters that he will decide on the location of his next transfer move before the World Cup. Barcelona are long-term suitors for the France international.
Griezmann, who moved to Atleti from Real Madrid and looks set to stay in Spain with his next career move; has emerged from the shadows since his arrival in Madrid and is now considered one of the world's best strikers.
"My future will be decided before the World Cup, I want to go to Russia with a clear mind, I think that's what everybody wants, it's not so much the question of where I'll play, which may be boring, but about having the peace of mind if I'm still in one place or another," Griezmann quipped.
"I've told my sister that, whether I stay or not, I'll have to decide before (in reference to the World Cup)."
The forward is known to be unhappy at his current team: "It is certain that after last summer, between my statements and their repercussions, it was difficult to think only about football and to have fun on the field."
