Germany international Toni Kroos is reportedly leaning towards a Manchester United move, four years after snubbing a transfer to Old Trafford.
According to Don Balon, the World Cup winner is seemingly eyeing a fresh challenge, and this could lure him to the Premier League at the end of the campaign.
It is added that United are the German's preferred destination with the club due to lose the services of Michael Carrick through retirement whilst Marouane Fellaini is also likely to leave the club on a free transfer.
Kroos has enjoyed his time in the Spanish capital with two Champions League crowns and one La Liga title in the past three-and-a-half seasons, but he is now said to be weighing up an exit with the club entering a transition phase.
Despite Los Blancos' changes of fortunes of late, club president Florentino Perez is expected to go on a summer spending spree with the Capital outfit having failed in their quest to defend the La Liga title this term.
