Cech: stay positive Chelsea

Cech: stay positive Chelsea

25 February 2008 - 18:43

Petr Cech has called on Chelsea to recover immediately and battle in all three remaining fronts to help the side push for a treble. Cech also denied that it was his fault for conceding Woodgate's winning goal.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • "We must look to the future. There are still trophies up for grabs that we must try and win," Cech said CTK.

"The referee didn't award the penalty. His assistant advised him to do so. The penalty lifted them. Without the penalty we would have easily controlled the game."

Cech refused to take blame for Woodgate's extra time header: "It was just bad luck that the ball bounced off me onto Woodgate's head.

"If I was first to the ball it would have been my mistake. But he was the first one to the ball."
