Harry: Kanu will stay

25 February 2008 - 20:24

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is keen to hang on to Nigerian striker Kanu for another season. Australian clubs have been looking to sign Kanu in recent months and the Pompey boss is keen to give Kanu the contract he is guaranteed after he reaches the mandatory 25 games.

  • Barcelona have genuine interest in Chelsea forward
  • Man Utd handed boost in signing West Ham star?
  • "If he takes part in 25 games he'll get another year," Redknapp told The News.

"I love having him around and all the other lads love him, too.

"His knee is a bit of problem - it's a bit iffy at times - but he's unique. Some of those things he can do are fantastic to watch."
