Paul Pogba keen on Manchester United stay

18 April 2018 - 10:20

Paul Pogba is determined to remain at Manchester United despite the ongoing speculation linking him with an exit from Old Trafford.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The 25-year-old is alleged to have had a bust-up with manager Jose Mourinho earlier in the year, and he has been subbed or left out of the starting lineup in seven of his previous 11 appearances for United.

A recent report from The Mail suggested that United could sanction the sale of their club-record signing during the summer, but the Frenchman is supposedly not keen on an exit.

According to The Sun, the France international is eager to prove his credentials to Mourinho, and he is prepared to snub advances from some of Europe's elite.

Pogba starred during the 3-2 derby win over Manchester City in which he bagged a brace, but this was followed by a rather disappointing performance in the 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

He has been named in the travelling squad for the Bournemouth clash tonight, but it is yet to be seen whether Mourinho would pick the Frenchman for the starting lineup.
