Birmingham defender Martin Taylor had reportedly made several visits to Arsenal striker Eduardo in hospital. Taylor had broken Eduardo's leg, shin and ankle in a horror challenge between the two clubs at the weekend.
Arsene Wenger had earlier called on Taylor to 'banned from football' but later retracted his statements after Taylor paid special visits to see the Croatian in hospital.
Taylor had attempted to visit Eduardo on Saturday but the player was undergoing surgery, but instead visited on Sunday afternoon where Eduardo reportedly accepted his apology.
Alex McLeish said afterward that Taylor was completely distraught for the career threatening challenge.
