Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is unsure whether David Luiz may make an appearance before the close of the current campaign.
Earlier in November, Luiz was alleged to have a rift with the manager which saw him spend time on the sidelines.
However, he has since been struggling with a knee problem and Conte has refused to confirm if Luiz can make a comeback before the end of the season.
Speaking in his press conference, Conte said: "I don't know, I don't know. We'll see. For sure, now, he's having training sessions and is improving a lot. He had this problem in his knee. He's working. Working very hard. He's aiming to come back before the final of the season."
Chelsea are currently five points behind the top-four positions and their chances of acquiring Champions League are dependent on whether they can close down Liverpool or Tottenham in the remaining four games.
The west London outfit are presently five points behind fourth-placed Spurs whilst they trail a further three points to Liverpool with an extra game in hand.
