Guardiola reveals Joe Hart exit decision his hardest to date

30 April 2018 - 14:31

Man City manager Pep Guardiola has sensationally revealed that his decision to loan out England goalkeeper Joe Hart on consecutive short-term deals to Torino and now West Ham is his most tricky idea to date. Hart will return to City in the summer as West Ham have reportedly decided against a permanent move.

  • Pep Guardiola has toyed with his goalkeeping choices in recent years, but Hart appears to not be a significant part of the Spaniard's future plans with the Cityzens.

Guardiola quipped: "I think that was the toughest decision I've made since I was a manager. He was an incredible professional when we were together, and there are no doubts about his quality.

"But I am here to make decisions -- sometimes good, sometimes not. We will find out in the future. He's our player and, if he does not continue here next season, we will talk. We are going to speak with the club and will take the right decision for him."
