Juventus join hunt for Bellerin

Juventus back in for Arsenal defender

21 May 2018 - 15:16

Juventus have reportedly retained their interest in Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin with a view to an approach during the summer transfer window.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The Spain international has witnessed a drop in his development over the past year but he has still remained the first-choice on the right side of the Gunners defence.

According to The Express, the Bianconeri are planning a fresh approach for the 23-year-old as they seek to replace the departing Stephan Lichtsteiner in their ranks.

However, the Serie A holders are still reluctant to match the Gunners' &pound50m price tag and they are awaiting for the north Londoners to reduce their valuation.

Bellerin has recently insisted that he is committed to the Gunners but reports suggest that he could be one of those offloaded in order to recoup funds for a summer spending spree.

The right-back made 47 appearances for the Gunners across all competitions last term. Regardless of this, he was not picked for the World Cup finals in Russia.
