Wales manager Ryan Giggs believes Gareth Bale is happy at Real Madrid despite received limited gametime during the 2017/18 season. The 28-year-old has constantly linked with a move to Manchester United over the past year.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Speaking on BBC Sport Wales, Giggs expressed his belief that Bale is content at the Capital outfit, he said: "I've always maintained he looks happy at Real Madrid.

"It's a great club and a successful one. It's Gareth's choice. He's made the difference in a Champions League final - whether that has any bearing, I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see."

Bale was in outstanding form for Real Madrid during the Champions League final against Liverpool on Saturday and he came off the bench to score two outstanding goals to secure a 3-1 triumph for his side.

Despite this, the Welshman suggested that he should be playing more often for the team under Zidane whilst hinting over a possible move elsewhere during the summer.
