Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez has revealed that Eden Hazard has only suffered a minor knock and he should feature in the Red Devils' World Cup opener against Panama.
The Chelsea attacker played a part in one of Romelu Lukaku's goals against Costa Rica but he was substituted in the 70th minute after picking up an injury.
Speaking after Belgium's 4-1 win over Costa Rica, Martinez was pleased with the performance of the 27-year-old and insisted that the injury is not serious.
"I really enjoyed his performance. He was sharp and strong, he was majestic. At the end he just came off because he had a little bit of a dead leg, a little bit of a knock on his leg," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
Hazard has stood out as the standout player in the attack front for Belgium in recent years and his showing could be key to ending the country's wait for the World Cup crown.
Belgium are certainly not the leading favourites for the global tournament but they are likely to pose a threat, should they hit their stride from their opening game against Panama.
