Radamel Falcao has accused referee, Mark Geiger of being biased towards England who defeated Colombia on penalties in the second round of the ongoing World Cup in Russia on Tuesday.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • After playing 1-1 in regulation time, the game entered extra time, and finally into penalties where the English won by four goals to three.

The former Atletico Madrid star revealed that he found it suspicious that an American referee who spoke only English was used.

According to Goal.com, Falcao said that the referee used small calls to put them on the back foot.

He said that the referee made the calls in favour of England when the play was evenly matched, accusing him of seeking clarification from the England side when he is in doubt about a decision.

On the other hand, former Premier League referee, Mark Clattenburg has said that Colombian player Wílmar Barrios should have been sent off for violent conduct after he headbutted Jordan Henderson during the game.

He said that England didn't get justice with the Video Assistant Referee which is suppose to spot such acts.
