Manchester United have reportedly finalised a package worth £18.5m for the sale of versatile defender Daley Blind to Ajax.
The Netherlands international has made nearly 150 appearances during his four-year stay at Old Trafford but he is now set for a return to his hometown club.
According to BBC Sport, the Red Devils have agreed on an initial £14m fee for the Dutchman with a remaining £4m likely to be settled in the form of add-ons.
Blind was a regular in the starting lineup during his first two seasons under ex-boss Louis van Gaal but since the arrival of Jose Mourinho, his gametime has been limited with just four league starts coming during the previous campaign.
The Dutchman will now seek to revive his career in the Eredivisie with Ajax and hopefully, the left-back can return to his old self to help the Amsterdam-based club compete for the league title next season.
