Everton boss David Moyes is delaying contract talks as he tries eagerly to help the club toward Champions League qualification. Moyes has admitted he has yet to meet with the clubs chairman.

  • "In time we will get to the contract," said Moyes. "I don't want anything to ruin the focus.

"The crowd is bouncing here. I think we now have the realisation that we can play against teams and cause them problems," he told Sky Sports.

"There's a determination and a real desire to achieve things. We have a great team spirit.

"We have been consistent and we are doing everything we can to make a real go of it."
