Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic, who has long been a target for Manchester United, has given a number of Premier League sides hope after admitting that he would like to try his luck in England's top flight. Perisic has been a revelation for Inter since his move there and has recently helped Croatia to their first ever World Cup final.
Man Utd had been linked with a transfer deal for Ivan Perisic for over two years but so far have failed to have agreed terms with the Croatian's club Inter Milan. It is understood that manager Jose Mourinho had even given up hope signing the midfielder, but recent comments suggest Perisic would still be open to a move to England.
Perisic quipped: "I would like to test myself in all of the biggest leagues but the question is will I have the time, I am 29 and working to extend my career as long as I can.
"Yes, I'd like to play in England and Spain but I don't know if there is enough time left."
Barcelona are also amongst the teams that are closely monitoring Perisic's transfer status.
