Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has stressed that he has no plans of returning home with Marseille this month.
The France international has recently been linked with a summer exit with Maurizio Sarri deemed to be eyeing a new marksman before the transfer deadline.
A recent report suggested that the Frenchman could be heading to the French Ligue 1 with Marseille prepared to pay as much as £13m for his signature.
However, the World Cup winner has now rubbished the claims by citing that he has no desire of returning to France in the near future, he said:
"I have heard many things that have been said in the media. In the near future, my goal isn't to return to France. For now, I'm a Chelsea player."
Chelsea are currently missing a few first-team players following their exploits at the World Cup and Giroud is among them who appears certain to miss the season opener.
