Ante Rebic reacts to transfer speculation

Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Ante Rebic has said that he is happy big clubs and coaches are enquiring about him in the transfer window.

The Croatian international added that he deserves the attention having had a great World Cup in Russia.

Rebic was one of the outstanding players for Croatia as they made it to their first World Cup final where they lost to France by four goals to two.

“I am obviously glad to hear and read about how many big coaches and clubs are asking about me. Honestly, I think I deserved it!” he told Goal.

He also revealed that there have been concrete offers for him to move away from Germany.

He has been linked with a move to Premier League side Manchester United, but it is looking unlikely that he will join the Old Trafford side with three days remaining before the closure of the transfer window.

United begin their new season with a Premier League game against Leicester City next Friday.
