Pique rules out a return to Manchester United

Pique rules out a return to Manchester United

28 August 2018 - 09:30

Former Manchester United defender Gerard Pique has said that he doesn't think that he will return to Old Trafford.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Pique joined United from Barcelona in 2004, and after spending four years at Old Trafford, returned to the Nou Camp where he has won all the trophies one can think about at club level.

The 31-year-old said that he is happy at the Catalan club and hopes to win more trophies as time progresses.

Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "I don't think so. I'm very happy here. It's my home, with my family and friends, and playing for the club I always dreamed to play, and I hope to win more titles here."

Barcelona are the current La Liga champions and have won their opening two La Liga games this season.

On the other hand, Manchester United last won the Premier League in 2013 and have started this season abysmally, losing two of their three opening games this term.
