Blackburn for Ugur Boral

Blackburn for Ugur Boral

09 March 2008 - 10:14

Blackburn are reportedly eyeing a move for Fenerbahce's left sided player Ugur Boral. Boral was impressive in the Champions League match between Fener and Sevilla which saw the Spanish side knocked out of the tournament,

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • Now, Mark Hughes has turned his attentions to the player that caught the eye in that game. Boral showed he is a superb crosser of the ball with pace and good vision, and Hughes is keen to add such a player to his squad as the threat of losing David Bentley in the summer to Chelsea becomes more real.

Boral is 25, and has played for Turkey's international team over a dozen times. Last season Boral helped Fenerbahce to the Super Lig title and was one of the key players in Fenerbahce's Champions League progression this year, grabbing two goals against CSKA Moscow earlier in the season.

Fenerbahce could be tempted to sell Boral for around £4.5 million.
