Manchester United legend Eric Cantonal has said that Jose Mourinho is not the right person to lead the Old Trafford side.
The Frenchman said that United should have Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola at the helm of affairs.
The United fan favourite admitted that he likes the Portuguese coach and thinks he has a good personality, but does not believe that he is right for the 13-time Premier League champions.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, he said: "I like Mourinho. He has a good personality but not for United - they should have [Pep] Guardiola as coach."
Cantona went further to criticise Jose Mourinho's style of play, saying that it is not entertaining and lacks creativity.
Jose Mourinho has been criticised by United fans because of his style of play, judging him to be too negative.
On the other side, Pep Guardiola has been doing wonders for Manchester City. After a very poor title fight in his first season, City won the league in his second, breaking the points record held by Chelsea to finish with a hundred.
