Diarra happy at Portsmouth for now

10 March 2008 - 19:33

Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra is happy at his club since making the move in the January transfer window from Premiership rivals Arsenal. Pompey have found themselves in the semi-final of the FA Cup and on the verge of a successful season.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • "I'm very happy to be here," said Diarra, 23 today. "I'm playing every week now and I'm enjoying my football. I can get better of course. The best is yet to come from me.

"I feel very comfortable on the field and that is largely down to the manager who gives me confidence. Everyone at Portsmouth has tried to help me settle in and that is why I feel so comfortable out on the pitch."
