Barnsley and Cardiff will face each other for a place in the FA Cup final while the only Premiership side left in the tournament, Portsmouth, take on West Brom.

  • The draw

    Portsmouth vs West Brom

    Barnsley vs Cardiff

For the first time for exactly 100 years that the semifinal lineup has only one team from the top division, and one of these sides is keen on making history.

In fact, Welsh side Cardiff were the only team outside of England to ever win the tournament in 1927.

West Brom has won the title five times - last in 1968 - whilst Pompey won only once in 1939.

    English coach guaranteed success

Portsmouth's Harry Redknapp, West Brom's Tony Mowbray, Barnsley's Simon Davey and Cardiff's Dave Jones are all English - so we are destined to have a national coach winning the domestic cup showpiece.
