Arsenal boss Unai Emery is reportedly looking into a deal for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe as he aims to bolster the attacking department within the club.
The Gunners were active during the course of the summer transfer window and much of the focus was placed on the defensive areas where Emery was keen to strengthen.
According to The Mirror, the Spaniard may now consider placing his attention on the attack front where he is keen to add another wideman to the ranks.
It is added that Pepe is the leading candidate on the club's transfer shortlist with the 23-year-old having made a bright start to the current season with five goals and three assists from just eight league matches.
Pepe still has under four years left on his current Lille but that is unlikely to stall any interest for the winter with his relatively affordable price tag of £40m.
