Paul Scholes urges Jose Mourinho to stop moaning

Manchester United legend-turned-pundit Paul Scholes believes Jose Mourinho should stop moaning and concentrate on changing the club's fortunes after a slow start to the season.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • The Red Devils find themselves in an unwanted situation with three defeats from their opening seven games whilst they have also been eliminated from the League Cup.

As such, Scholes had previously expressed his surprise after Mourinho had not been sacked following the West Ham United defeat but he has now softened his stance on the manager's situation.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Scholes has said that he agrees with Ryan Giggs' opinion of Mourinho remaining at the helm, though he wants the Portuguese to stop moaning about the club's frailties.

“Yes I agree. I’m sick of him moaning about what he hasn’t got when I think he really should be concentrating on what he has got," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Mourinho is presently under immense pressure with four games without a victory in all competitions but his team should ease his burden this weekend, given they have a winnable fixture against Newcastle United.

The Magpies are currently stranded in the drop zone with no victories since the season started but the majority of their seven matches have come against the top six from the previous season.
