Chelsea are considering a summer transfer window move for Recreativo defender Martin Caceres. The 20 year old is on loan at Recreativo, but is owned by Villarreal.
Caceres has been linked with Liverpool in the past too, but Chelsea are set to rival the Reds. Caceres only just signed a five year deal with Villarreal last year.
Villarreal's sporting director Jose Manuel Llaneza supposedly flew to London earlier this month to hold talks with Abramovich regarding Caceres' potential transfer.
Chelsea may have to pay up to £15.25 million to land the player via his 'get out clause'.
