Manchester United are reportedly confident of committing French attacker Anthony Martial to a new long-term contract at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old's present deal is due to conclude at the end of the season, although United are said to have the option of a 12-month extension clause.
Regardless of this, the hierarchy are making progress towards a new contract and Evening Standard claims that they are confident of sealing the Frenchman's services for the long-term.
Martial found himself out-of-favour under Jose Mourinho at the start of the season but he has slowly found his feet and contributed a key goal during the epic 3-2 comeback win over Newcastle United.
Aside from Martial, the Red Devils are also growing confident of sorting out a new contract with defender Luke Shaw following his positive start to the ongoing campaign.
Shaw went through a vigorous training regime during the summer to get himself back to shape and this has paid dividends with him commanding a regular Premier League role.
