Tottenham threw away an early lead at the City of Manchester Stadium on Sunday, as they took an early lead through Robbie Keane. However, City somehow turned the game around in the second half, and goals from Nedum Onuoha and Stephen Ireland finished off Spurs.

  • After half an hour, Chimbonda made good use of the space he found on the left side, and in the right moment, he passed the ball to Robbie Keane, who shot the ball in goal from a ten meter distance and brought the result on 1-0 in favour of the guests.

At the end of the first half, the match seemed to be leading to another victory for the Spurs, but in the second half there was a reversal. Stephen Ireland in the 14th minute brought the result back to even, and 13 minutes later, Neduma Onuoha headed the ball in goal and scored for Manchester City’s victory and the eighth place in the board.

Fullham beat Everton at home with a goal scored by American McBride in the 67th minute. Everton is now three points behind their well known city rivals, Liverpool, and holds the fourth position in the league.

Former Liverpool player, Emile Heskey, scored the only goal for Wigan’s victory overt Bolton in the 34th minute.
