Higuain to attempt to force through Chelsea move

AC Milan striker will do everything in his power to force through a transfer to Chelsea. The Argentina international striker, who has instructed his agent to conclude a deal to enable a dream move to Stamford Bridge, looks set to move to the Premier League on a loan deal.

  • It is understood that Chelsea's initial bid for the striker had been rejected, but now the Blues will offer a fee to sign Higuain on a loan contract until the end of the season, believed to be worth around 5 million euros in payments.

    Maurizio Sarri has made the signing of Higuain his absolute primary target for the January transfer window and has also informed the board at the Blues that Higuain must be signed if he is to fulfill his ambitions this seasons of ensuring Champions League qualification.

    Spain international flop Alvaro Morata looks set to be heading back to his homeland in the wake of the arrival of Higuain, with Atletico Madrid or Sevilla said to be Morata's likely destination. It is understood Chelsea will accept a fee of around 45 million euros for the wantaway striker.
