Chelsea set asking price for Eden Hazard

06 February 2019 - 22:49

Chelsea are reportedly planning to demand a sum in excess of £100m in order to part ways with Eden Hazard at the end of the ongoing campaign.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Hazard's future with the Blues remains a concern with his contract expiring in 17 month' time and this has intensified the speculation linking him with Real Madrid.

According to Evening Standard, the Blues are likely to come down from the £200m price tag which was placed on the Belgian's head during the 2018 summer transfer window.

Still, they are fancied to place a hefty valuation of more than £100m on the attacker, given Los Blancos are seemingly desperate to lure him to the Bernabeu next term.

Hazard has refused to comment on his contract situation with the Blues in recent weeks but of late, he has indicated that a decision has already been made regarding his future.

The Belgian has contributed 12 goals and 10 assists in the current league season.
