Manchester United striker James Wilson has said that he is more than likely to leave the Red Devils when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
The England youth international made a bright beginning to his Premier League career with a brace for United on his debut five years ago but he has since failed to progress with injuries and loan stints away from the club.
Speaking to ESPN, Wilson has now acknowledged that there is only a slight chance of United extending his contract beyond the summer and he is likely to leave Old Trafford when the campaign concludes.
"I think I've come to terms with it," he told ESPN. "I wouldn't say I'm 100 percent certain I'm going to leave. There's still a slight chance I might get a contract but I think I'm edging towards leaving in the summer."
Wilson is currently on a temporary stint with Scottish side Aberdeen where he has struggled with just three goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.
