Spain international David de Gea is ready to commit his long-term future to Manchester United by signing a fresh contract with a bumper wage rise.
The goalkeeper has been with the Red Devils for the past seven-and-a-half seasons and he appears on course to extend his stay for more than a decade with the proposed extension.
According to The Mail, the keeper wants to remain with the Red Devils for the long-term and he is prepared to sign a fresh deal despite the recent contract standoff with the club.
Super-agent Jorge Mendes has sought a £375,000-a-week package for his client but United remain confident of settling on a lesser salary to extend the Spaniard's contract.
De Gea has attracted interest from Los Blancos in the past but the Spaniard no longer holds the ambition of joining them as he has been unfairly maligned by the Spanish media.
Elsewhere, both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have been linked with the Premier League ace but neither are actively pursuing a new keeper ahead of next season.
