Birmingham City have pledged their support after the club was raided by the police early on Wednesday morning. The police confiscated financial documents in a move that is believed to be linked to the infamous Lord Stevens transfer inquiry.

  • Managing director Karren Brady has suggested the matter involves a 'third-party'.



    "The club is fully co-operating with the police in their inquiries which relate to an unconnected third party or third parties," read a Blues statement.



    "For the avoidance of doubt. no-one connected with the club has been questioned or arrested."
