  • The 18-year-old joined Dortmund from Manchester City in the summer of 2017 and he has since progressed impressively with 10 goals and 18 assists form just 44 appearances for the club.

According to The Mirror, the Red Devils are leading the race to sign the England international and they could be prepared to stump more than £100m to lure him to Old Trafford.

The same report suggests that Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on the young winger, though they are unlikely to go on a bidding war, given their concerns with the Financial Fair Play.

United have impressed under the temporary charge of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford among the prime performers on the wing.

Still, the hierarchy are likely to spend on at least another attacker in the summer with the right wing tending to be a point of weakness in recent seasons.
