Bolton want Giles Barnes

Bolton want Giles Barnes

20 March 2008 - 00:39

Bolton Wanderers are ready to move for Derby midfielder Giles Barnes. Gary Megson will reportedly only move for the player if Bolton stay in the Premiership, and if Derby are relegated to the Championship.

  • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
  • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future
  • West Ham have long been linked with a move for Barnes; until the club denied that any offer had been made for the Rams' hot property.

Now Gary Megson is preparing a £3.5 million offer for Barnes, a player that many consider will be an England international in the future.

West Ham and Sunderland however may also have an offer on the table for the player and will be ready to make a move at the end of the season.
