Ramos furious at tackle

Ramos furious at tackle

20 March 2008 - 11:39

The Spurs boss raged at Ashley Cole's lunge on Alan Hutton. It was a horrendeous high tackle and Mike Riley cautioned him for that.

  • Man Utd believe they can sign Bournemouth star for £64m
  • Chelsea tipped to make shock move for Marcus Rashford
  • Juande Ramos believes that Cole should have been sent-off for the foul. He added that Spurs players had been given marching orders for much less serious tackles. "We've seen tackles which were much less serious which have earned red cards. For example, Robbie Keane was sent off for a tackle less serious than that at Birmingham." he said

Gustavo Poyet, the former Chelsea player and Ramos's assistant coach complained to the fourth official about Cole's tackle. He had seen protesting to Cole as the players went off at half-time.
