Paris St Germain are reportedly ready to make a 120 million euro transfer move for Spain international goalkeeper David De Gea this summer. The Man Utd shot-stopper, who has been a revelation at Old Trafford since his arrival from Atletico Madrid, is considered one of the world's best keepers.
David De Gea is locked in talks with Man United over a new £300,000 contract that would make him the club's highest paid player in history, but there is a caveat to negotiations. According to reports from France, PSG are ready to offer the keeper even more than that, with suggestions that they are considering a deal worth approximately £400,000 per week.
Numerous pundits in France have suggested that PSG's struggles in Europe could be tied to their failure to secure a truly world-class goalkeeper. The likes of Kevin Trapp have played for the Ligue 1 Champions but as of yet the club have failed to secure a top name to play between the sticks.
A world record bid would be enough to secure the transfer of the 28-year-old, who has previously had his contract lengthened for a further one year as a part of an executed extension in De Gea's deal at the club.
