Liverpool make transfer decision on Rafael Camacho

23 April 2019 - 09:09

Liverpool are still said to be hopeful of keeping Rafael Camacho beyond the summer despite the interest from Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The teenage winger has been in impressive form for the Under-21 side this term but he has not been able to command a regular role with the first-team under Jurgen Klopp.

Moreover, Camacho is said to have concerns regarding his position with Klopp playing him on the right side of the defence in a couple of appearances and this has triggered doubts regarding his future with the club.

According to Portuguese outlet Record, the former Sporting graduate is keen on pursuing a fresh challenge elsewhere as he aims to secure regular gametime at the current stage of his career.

However, the Reds are still optimistic that they can convince the attacker to stay put with the club although his existing contract is due to expire at the end of next season.

Camacho has already been offered with a five-year contract by the Merseyside outfit, but the youngster has shown no indication that he would be prepared to commit his future to the club.
