Ander Herrera could reportedly perform a surprise U-turn and a sign a new long-term contract at Manchester United in the next few weeks.
Herrera's future has been placed under doubt in the past month with reports indicating that the Red Devils have made no progress in extending his contract beyond the current campaign.
In this phase, he has been strongly linked with a Bosman move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain, but according to TEAMtalk, he could yet commit his future to the Red Devils.
It is further added that the Spaniard remains fairly loyal to the club and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and he would be prepared to enter a fresh round of discussions over a new deal.
Herrera is presently on the sidelines with a hamstring problem which has affected his gametime in the past few months. He has featured in just one of the club's previous eight league games.
He has made nearly 190 appearances for Manchester United to date.
